Excellent product so far.
I never thought that I’d ever need a freezer beyond the small one above my fridge due to living alone and not doing much cooking. That being said, in anticipation of the possible downturn in the economy, I decided that I needed to make more meals at home and freeze the excess, if possible, so that I wouldn’t be eating the same thing five days or more days in a row. I love this freezer. It was easy to unbox and set up and had cooled down enough to start putting food into about two hours after plugging it in. It is quiet and compact enough to fit well in my small kitchen. All in all, I’ve been very happy with this investment.

Great small freezer
I got the 3.5 cubic foot (New/2024) version of this freezer and it works great. The main difference from the older model seems to be that this one has a light on the inside on the lid, which works well for lighting up the freezer when it is dark. The temperature dial on the front also has a small green indicator light that does not seem to be present on the other model. The interior measures slightly smaller than the older version. It is around 17.5″ long/across, 13″ wide/front to back, and 19.5-27.5″ deep. The 27.5″ deep section is around 10.5″ across and the 19.5″ section is around 7″ across. For the cost, it would have made more sense to get the 5 cubic foot model, but the exterior dimensions of fit our space better. It was reasonably packaged, but the box still arrived a bit beat up. It had a minor dent on the back corner of the lid, but it still seals well and works fine. But it does seem like damage in shipping is not uncommon. It barely makes any sound, and it is not noticeable at all except for a “click” occasionally when it turns on/off. I set it to the recommended temperature and it has kept everything well frozen, even after piling things up.

Great little freezer is perfect!
We purchased the 7 square foot freezer to store the over-flow from the kitchen refrigerator freezer. We were concerned that it would be too small, but it is the perfect size. We have room for many more items. The raised shelf on the right size will hold nine Ninja Ice Cream containers stacked in three rows, three containers high. It’s great to have the shelf to keep them perfectly flat until they are frozen, then they can be moved, if necessary. We were worried that this freezer would be too small, but we have never come close to filling it. we think it has been a great purchase.

Perfect size
Really nice. Just what I needed for my apartment. Easy to setup in miunutes. It did arrived with a tiny bent at the bottom but that’s due to delivers not being too careful… but no worries, it’s not noticeable. I’m happy with the purchase. It took a couple of days to really start getting really cold so luckily I haven’t placed any food in yet.

Almost perfect
This freezer was delivered upright and in perfect condition on the outside. It’s so beautiful. Waited a day before plugging it in and turning it on incase it was on its side at any point. It got to the set temp pretty quickly as well. The unit is very quiet. The only downside is that the control doesn’t have any indication of what temps are for the settings. So I bought a separate freezer thermometer just to figure out what is what. Manual says not to use max freezer temp o.O??? And manual never mentioned what the temp ranges are for this unit. I’ll find out when the thermometer arrives. Aside from the lack of temperature information, it’s great.Update: wish the door had a better seal.

Midea 3.5 Cu.Ft Chest Freezer
The Midea 3.5 Cu.Ft chest freezer is a great 3.5 refrigerator/freezer. Not to big & not to small. It’s simply plug & play. Easy & simple manuel, controls, light on inside for easy viewing & use. Great buy for the price. Midea has good efficiency rating.

After one month review. Freezer works perfectly.
The fridge works pretty good. The size is not too big but I needed this exact size to serves my need. If you’re looking for a big fridge than this one is not for you. Looks just like a normal deep freezer and it was also not too heavy. There is no leakage as you can see its on the carpet. I have set the temperature in the half of the freezing area on the knob and works good. Doesn’t produce any noise and seems pretty durable as well. Love it.

Year 8 Update. Still kicking. Some yellowing.
This one arrived in 2016 with some dent. I didn’t bother returning because of the bulkiness and low price. It’s still working after 8 years of service. It’s cheap to operate. Likely because of less air exchange makes less work to the compressor. Cold air behaves like liquid, so top door makes more sense than side doors. It’s quiet. It needs manual defrost or scraping every once in a while. There’s a drainage hole at the bottom. When there are less stuff in the freezer, I move them to my other freezer and turn it off to defrost. Drain it. Clean it. Turn it back on and back to the business. Some exterior parts start yellowing 3-4 years after purchase. It’s cosmetic and I don’t really mind. I can buy some vinyl wrap if I want a different look.
