Still a beast after 4 years
We’ve had this vacuum for 4 years now. It’s hands down the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. When I bought it, I remember seeing the most common complaint was that the suction was TOO powerful and that it’d inhale throw rugs, pens, stray socks, small animals, etc. They were not kidding. The motor is very powerful and even after being used daily for 4 years, it still performs like a champ. The strength helps get dirt in corners and crevices that other vacuums simply can’t reach or fail to pick up, so over time we’ve thrown away every other mediocre vacuum we’ve had and just use this. The bagless design is great and super easy to empty, and you can transform from push mode to hand-held with literally 1 click. The power cord is very long (longer than I’d ever expect), and it’s very light when in carry mode making it that more convenient.

Amazing Functionality, Ugly as Heck
I’ll start by saying this is an incredible vacuum. We have dogs (two doodles) and thick carpet as well as laminate flooring with area rugs. Before this, we had a cheaper Hoover (under 150$). I felt it was not doing a sufficient job so I started reading up on higher end vacs. I landed on this one after seeing reviews showing this vacuum beating out Dysons and anything else put up against it. They said it was excellent for both carpet and hardwood, and was the best at picking up hair without the beater getting tangled. These were all true, so here are my pros and cons:Pros:-Great suction. The pic shows the reservoir being full…this was from JUST a 12×12 thick carpeted room, 5 MINUTES after vacuuming the same room with my Hoover.-I do not have any issues on our very thick carpet with the vacuum sucking too hard and making it tough to push. I saw some reviews that state that…they likely pushed the button and have the beater turned off so it wont pull itself, or they have it set to the wrong flooring type. This is the main reason I chose this over a Dyson, I have seen far more reviews on Dyson’s being very tough to push.-LOVE the maneuverability. You can pop the whole canister off and carry it, or just the top and use the hose attached to the vac. Also very easy to turn and go under tables and stuff.-No fanning. What I mean is that with every other vacuum Ive used, if you were on a hard surface, the beater put out so much air that it just blows all the dust and debris out of the way so you never suck it up. This works awesome on hardwood when you put it in that mode, and only one beater spins to pick up debris.Cons:-This thing is ugly as hell. The engineer that designed the functionality features is a genius. I believe after they designed it, they let a 90 year old lady choose the color scheme. Seriously, why would you have a grey vac, with rose gold touches and a blue roller? If I had shopped in store I wouldn’t have even considered a vacuum at this price point with those colors solely based on looks. Dyson’s are so much more appealing if you’re simply going off looks.-Reservoir size. The reservoir is fricken tiny. If you have a large house or more than one dog, you will either need to vacuum every week or empty the canister a couple times during use. Only the front and top portions of the canister are actually to collect debris, most of it is taken up by the motor.-The cord. Yeah, its super long which is great. But why are we still making cords the EXACT length to where you have to wind it up super loose to attach the plug to another cord. Make it 2″ shorter or longer, so annoying.-Wheels. The back wheels are stupid. Theyre tiny plastic wheels that wannabe a dyson ball but aren’t. If rolls around like a ball, but when turning one of the wheels lifts off the floor and its like youre kind of lifting the vacuum. I believe their goal was to mimic a Dyson ball without infringing on patents, but it’s a cheesy way to do so.As you can see, my cons are slightly petty but still sort of annoying. Luckily, a vacuum isn’t particularly for pleasing the eye. Overall this is awesome vacuum in terms of functionality, and I would highly recommend to any friends or family to snag one of these if they can afford it.

Works as a vacuum should
I’ve had this vacuum for exactly 2 weeks. I use it nearly daily, sometimes twice a day. No pets, but a handful of small children that like to leave a trail of crumbs. We also have had a revolving door of visitors in this timeframe. Based on the other reviews, I was expecting some sort of miracle machine. Maybe my expectations in general are too high, but I give this 5 stars merely because it meets my minimum standards for what I expect out of a household vacuum. It has great suction. It’s pretty much bringing our carpet back to life. Our old vacuum still works (so I thought) but was definitely dying (purple shark idk actual version, I loved it for 8+ years, it took many beatings, survived many cross country military moves well). As an experiment today (2 weeks post purchase), I vacuumed our living room entirely with our old purple vacuum and then immediately again with this new version. Pictured is what our old vacuum left over for our new version to pick up. Clearly, this one out ranks our old, beat up friend by a mile. I cannot vacuum small rugs with this without getting it clogged, it’s too strong in any of the settings. This new one is doing some serious work for us. Again, maybe I’m expecting too much, but this is just what I imagine a well made vacuum—especially at this price—to do.Also pictured are the rollers. I have not cleaned them at all, and they look fresh out of the box. No pet hair in the house, but my daughter and I have long hair. Plus like I said, we’ve also had many guests, so it’s been tested. The attachments are fine. Both standard attachments fit perfectly on the bottom as seen in the last picture, so I don’t get the upset in the other reviews on this aspect. I don’t like the location, I prefer them near the handle since I do use them very often. This I can get over though. Only had one fall off once, but that was due to me bumping it. I do like the long, narrow attachment better than the old version. The brush is an adjustment. It’s larger than the old standard ones. It does also pop off the hose frequently which is frustrating. I’m still getting used to it, but I’m sure it’ll be a non-issue within the next couple of weeks. I don’t think the size is really any better or worse than the old one. The extra mini roller attachment is just ok. It kinda works, not as well as I’d like. Maybe I need to keep using it to get better with it. There’s no spot on the vacuum to store it, so it’s basically nonexistent in my mind. The longer cord is also taking a bit to get used to with handling it, but overall I do very much appreciate the additional length. The canister does seem a tad smaller, but for the results, I don’t mind. Pops on and off easily, opens easily to dump. With this design, no hair or stings get tangled up in there, so I haven’t needed to stick my hand or a tool in it to fully clear it out. Absolutely an improvement.LOVE that the power button is on the handle. It’s very smooth with adjusting the settings even while running. The bare floor setting actually works and doesn’t just send things flying in every direction. It is on the heavier side, but I disagree with the other review that says this is too much for an average person to have. This vacuum works like a standard home vacuum should. It has a few flaws that can be overlooked, but I would much rather pay an extra $100 for this than buy a lighter, less effective vacuum. Unfortunate it’s this pricey, but as someone that finds this incredibly expensive, I’m seeing that you get what you pay for with this one. It was hard to push confirm on this order, but I’d say overall it’s worth it given the current vacuum market.

I have owned this vacuum now for over three years. I live with two Labs that shed contently and need to vacuum daily. I have owned at least seven different vacs over the past 40 years always living with multiple dogs. This vac has outperformed all the vacuums that I have used. It is so well engineered and thoughtfully put together. The suction is incredible the rollers never get bunged up or clogged with hair. The ease of removing the main body from the business end of the vac allows for easy access to under furniture or use on stairs, not to mention the extra reach from the power plug that is obtained at least 5more feet.Clean out is a breeze with the trap door on the bin and the additional top door opening. It is such a good vacuum that I purchased one as a bonus for my G.M. when she mentioned she was looking for a vacuum. Although the cost is more than a lot of vacs but not as munch as the cordless hyped alternatives under the “D****” brand.Buy this vac you will not regret it.

Excelente compra !

I just reviewed this yesterday, I immediately vacuumed my carpet that I had LITERALLY just vacuumed like 2 hrs prior and the dust that this thing sucked up was amazing and disgusting all at the same time!Works great on both our hardwood & carpet, I love how I can just manoeuvre from one to the other without having to change the head. The extension wand and removable container make it so easy for me to vacuum everything!
