Amazing quality for the price
Considering the reputation of Nakamichi and the fact these were less than $8 I was dubious about getting authentic parts. After using them the quality seems top-notch in every way with none of the aberrations typical of cheap imitations (poor quality uneven branding/silk screening, burrs, poor machining causing gritty, uneven screw connections and driver slots that aren’t deep enough, uneven depth/width, misfitting parts, inconsistent sizing, etc). These look great, work great, fit great; it’s a simple part and I think the price is reasonable but some brands are over 2x the cost and I can’t see them being 2x the quality and some generic parts are the same cost and I can’t see them matching this quality, I only found one about $1 cheaper from some no-name Chinese manufacturer and if these aren’t genuine Japanese parts they’re outsourced to a higher quality standard that is up to Nakamichi’s audiophile quality reputation.
