Love it for my office. Fits under desk.
So far, so good with this refrigerator. I needed one for my office and this fits perfectly underneath my L-shaped desk. I have an ice block that I bring into work frozen and this keeps it frozen. I tried feezing it from the beginning of the day, but it did not freeze all the way through by the end of the day (9 hours). Still serves my purpose well, though. It chills beverages very quickly. The inside is a good size. I’m glad my husband talked me out of the 1.7 cubic sized ones. This one is just slightly bigger, but doesn’t take up too much room. Perfect for the office.

Unit Failed after 18 months
Purchased this a while ago. Worked fine for 6 months. Worked OK for another year, but every few weeks it would stop cooling and all food inside was ruined. However, at least I could get it to work by shutting it off for a while and then restarting it. After about 18 months it has failed completely and nothing seems to get it to cool anymore.

Cold, quiet, and definitely money well spent.
I bought this refrigerator for my bedroom and it is the perfect size for my little room. I like how you can reverse the direction the door swings. Instructions in the manual are clear and easy to follow. The only thing I didn’t like is how rough the original holes were drilled into the top. I had to hammer the edges down a bit so that the covers would sit flush with the top of the unit.Temperature-wise, at first I thought it wasn’t cooling enough with the temperature control set midway so I turned the temperature control all the way to maximum. I came home today to find the drinks I had outside of the tiny freezer had frozen. I also put some frozen steaks in the freezer and placed one on the tray below the freezer to thaw. The steak I left on the tray is still frozen solid 3 days after I put it there. I guess its time for me to turn the temperature control down to a lower setting.This is a very quiet refrigerator. The only thing you’ll hear is a distinct pop whenever the compressor turns on. The compressor itself is so quiet that you’ll only hear it if you try and listen for it after you hear the pop. I don’t know if that pop is normal but it happens all the time.

Need help
I had the earlier model, bought from here. Worked well, but frost popped the freezer door off and now it just randomly defrosts, spoiling contents and leaking. To be clear: there is no ice now or anything close. If there is, it melts, as described.It’s outside of the warrantee, AND discontinued, but I hate throw away a fridge because it’s bad for the environment. If anybody is familiar with the issue and knows a fix, I’d love to know.FWIW, it was never overstuffed, etc. Thanks.

Really great quiet mini-fridge.
I got a copy of SPT RF-244SS Compact Refrigerator, Stainless, 2.4 Cubic Feet to put near my wife when she was ill. She was unhappy about it for about three days.This is a really great refrigerator. It is nearly completely silent – it does emit a small “pop” when it starts to run – perfect for places where quiet is important. It takes a day of two to “pump down” initial contents from room temperature to the set point, but it keeps stuff cold perfectly after that.

Small and efficient refrigerator perfect for bedrooms, forms and guestrooms.
I would have liked this humble but very efficient and well thought out interior refrigerator had a light integrated as soon as the door opens.
