After receiving delivery from Amazon of Shark’s WV201RGBRN WANDVAC Cordless Hand Vac, I learned the following:1. Receiving a product from Amazon does not mean that the product received is as-intended at time of purchase. I received an unsealed product box with an attachment missing. As directed by the product brochure, I called the SHARK Customer Service number. (The brochure is — and should be — enclosed in the product box.) I spoke with a very kind, responsive, and responsible SHARK CUSTOMER SERVICE representative. He advised me to register the Shark product (which I did by providing him with the requested information). He IMMEDIATELY facilitated dispatch to me of the missing attachment to the vac.NOTE: I called SHARK on Tuesday (after receiving delivery and checking the product box contents) and received the attachment from SHARK on Saturday. SHARK provided contemporaneous information re. fulfillment, dispatch, and delivery. I rate SHARK OUTSTANDING. (Thank you, SHARK!)2. It was only after I called SHARK that I noted two Amazon coded stickers on the product box (a red and a white sticker that I have not previously encountered with prior purchases). Accordingly, I reached out to Amazon to ask if the product I received was new product or returned merchandise. I did NOT receive an answer to my question but noted that Amazon unilaterally began a ‘RETURN” process — directing me to go to a UPS Store that same week — within a couple of days. When I objected and noted that I had registered the purchase and intended to keep it, I was also told that replacement (that I, also, did not request) would NOT be possible.3. By this point in time I had watched multiple Youtube videos about the Shark Ion handheld vac and I used the vac; I realized that, among other things:a. It is an effective and impressive cleaning applianceb. It has small dust cup capacity and needs to be emptied perhaps more frequently than experienced by some consumers with other product..c. If not emptied and/or if the filter needs cleaning/changing, the fully charged vac may, among other things, cut-off and/or otherwise not effectively perform. (Some posted that the product may feel warm.)d. Per the instructions, even fully charged produces minutes of operation. (The internet — consumer postings) indicate ranges of time from 3 to 8 to 10 minutes; the outer end (not often mentioned) was 30 minutes.e. Despite what may be considered practical operational ‘limitations’, the effectiveness of the fully functioning vac is lauded. It is important to keep in mind the manufacturer’s representations regarding intended use (such as small spill cleanup).4. My personal conclusions:a. This product, perhaps designed as a limited-use handheld, is so effective in short-time use that consumers wish there was longer operational time and larger capacity. It is lightweight and well-designed. It is VERY effective/powerful when appropriately functioning.b. This clean-up tool is not designed for longer time and larger capacity use.c. SOME CONSUMERS report longer operational time and less need to clean or change filters.d. It may be prudent to have a supply of filters on-hand.e. SHARK has evidenced caring about its product and consumers being able to use their products effectively.f. YOUTUBE videos, as well as information provided by SHARK in its brochure and other product-related information, help even the most unmechanically-inclined consumer to understand product operation and care.5. I have encountered challenges with my purchase of this product but at this point in time I would not hesitate to purchase additional Shark products from SHARKAt this point, given the foregoing about the handheld vac I have had for less than one week, I am impressed that SHARK cares about its products and consumers of its products.I have concerns about long-term full functionality and keeping the product plugged in/charging continually but will rely on SHARK instructions.

A Handy, Effective Tool
What a change from the old corded hand vacs of the past! This is a very handy cordless hand vac that really sucks up dust, debris, and cat hair in a flash. I don’t know how long the charge lasts, because I’ve never had it lose its charge while I used it. The charging station takes up little space and holds two nozzle accessories that help with different types of flooring and spaces. This vac is very lightweight, not terribly noisy, easy to clean, and has great suction. Love it!

One of my best purchases! I was lucky to get it on sale because it is pricey but it’s definitely worth the price. I have cats and kids i wanted something to clean up those little messes so I didn’t have to pull out the big vacuum every time. Holds a great charge and works great, super great suction. I haven’t had an issues yet. I do wish it could be hung and mounted to the wall to store it better because it’s big on the counter because its recommended to keep charging constantly. Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing for family.

I HATE THIS VACUUM
I’ve been a HUGE shark fan for some time. we’ve owned several of their upright vacuums. When we realized we desperately needed a hand vac, I naturally purchased the shark hand vac.HUGE MISTAKE.In a nutshell: filters plug immediately, and the vacuum just shuts off. CONSTANTLY. You can’t use it for more than 60 seconds without having to clean or change the filter. it requires compressed air to clean and happens so often, that I just keep a 10 pack of filters on hand at all times. That gets really expensive really quick, especially when you’re considering this is a $90 vacuum to boot. suction is terrible, because the filter plugs up immediately in the vacuum shuts off. battery is terrible, because the filter plugs up immediately, and the vacuum just shuts off. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VACUUM. If you want more details, continue on.First, this thing is EXPENSIVE. This price point is not justified by ANY ASPECT of this vacuum.This vacuum FAILS MISERABLY in EVERY SINGLE CATEGORY. Before I get into the details, keep in mind that I live in a 30′ x 8′ RV. I’m NOT asking a lot of of this vacuum, I use our upright for full cleaning, this was only intended for spot cleaning, mainly for our TWO entry steps to keep the Florida sand at Bay.- let’s start with battery life: You’ll never be able to find out, because the filter will AL toWAYS plug up before the battery dies. However, when it’s brand new and actually works for 5 minutes straight (this will only happen once, so enjoy it), the battery Will only last for that 5 minutes. The battery in this is TERRIBLE, it will not last through spot cleaning my 10’x15′ kitchen space.Power/suction: It’s ok, i guess. Perhaps too much, maybe that’s why the filter plugs up IMMEDIATELY. It’s seems terrible though, probably because the filter plugs up immediately, and then the vacuum just shuts off.Filter cleaning: If you don’t own an air compressor, IMPOSSIBLE. It’s a can style automotive type filter, SUPER tiny. You have to blow it out, cleaning with water is off the table because it ALWAYS plugs as soon as you start using it, so you have to clean it and put it back on service to finish what you are doing. you can’t wait for the filter to dry. it’s a complete PAIN IN THE ARSE when you literally have to clean the filter MULTIPLE TIMES to vacuum A SINGLE 2 INCH PILE OF SAND.I’m not even going into any other aspects or functions on this pile of trash. The bottom line is this: DO NOT BUT THIS CRAZY OVERPRICED JUNK.

La compré el 1ro de abril y al dÃa de hoy, ya no funciona :/ la ponemos a cargar, pero al prenderla, dura solo unos 5 segundos y se apaga. Adicional, nunca tuvo buena succión, la verdad no la recomiendo.

Mother owns many shark things, stick vac and handvac, has used them and raved about the power and dust she gets cleaning with them for over 10 years, now I am onboard with same tools plus this one now. Many uses, sure its loud but I don’t care it works great and like all my other shark products it has great suction. The filter captures all dust going in and is easy to disassemble and clean with compressed air. I bought additional filters as well. One touch dumping is easy, it saves me from lugging a giant vacuum hose or larger stick vacuum around the house for crumbs and dust. IMPORTANT: Manual calls for complete discharge after first charge to condition battery this is critical don’t ignore instructions READ THEM good people. Averages about 12-15 minutes for continuous use which is more than enough for multi level spot cleaning. I still have a cheapie one for car this one is too nice to do anything but the seats in my auto I don’t want to gum it up with mud/salt too much haha. Pro tip the exhaust air doubles as a blower of dust works well for tight spaces then I suck it alll uppppp.

I really like this hand vac, it’s powerful enough for it’s purpose. Charges quickly and lasts long enough to complete a run around clean up.Great product (FYI this is a US version and I had to buy an adaptor plug before I could use it)

The Shark is fine, but the charging plug fitted is the American style 2 pin!This meant I had to buy an appropriate adaptor. I don’t think this version should on sale in the UK.

The suction is average but the price is way over the top. It will not pick up a small clump of dog hairs from the carpet unless the special nozzle is attached and then it is necessary to go over the area several times. Very disappointing performance and highly over priced. It does look good though when sitting in its pod doing nothing!
