I can finally stop dropping my iron
When I’m ironing the board is always moving around when I twist the article around to a new positionTh3n the iron falls on the floor. I try to reach out to catch it and sometimes I even burn myselfIf I set it down on the cloth on the board and wait to long I burn the cover.I remembered I used to use a metal plate type cradle. So I went looking for something like that.Of course now they have silicon. I went for this a it works great. No more dropping or burning

I am pleased to find this silicone iron pad that I can set the iron on when it is hot. I intend to use it to keep from scorching my ironing pad. Then to store the iron on with it not harming the coated metal holder that holds my ironing board and iron.

It Works!
Works as described. Placed pad on ironing board to set iron between items. ( I do not leave the iron on the pad if I need to walk away.) Iron is generally set on cotton so it is very hot and yet no issues. I would certainly recommend.
