The 2nd row of steam holes are decorative
Yeah, they don’t have any function. I took a closer look and they are fake, haha. If that’s an important factor to you, know that it actually doesn’t need to be functional. That’s why the brush head can sit over it without any issues. It gets hot enough to where it can burn the skin if you’re not careful and it got all the wrinkles out from the different fabrics I tried it on (altho nothing was stubborn to get out). The key is to go a little slow as it’s more effective with any steam iron. Other than that, I loved the way this steam iron looks & functions with its futuristic aesthetic and how the buttons are accessible on one hand to switch steam modes or to power off quickly. It also does get hot on the neck/head after some time so be careful. The cable is a decent length but I think even longer would’ve been more convenient. It comes with a small cup to pour water into the tank, but that requires refilling multiple times, so I just used the faucet on the lowest setting to fill it all at once. Do note that the instructions are outdated for an older model. This one CAN steam horizontally, but I found that the steam output isn’t as effective compared to steaming vertically and it kinda expels a puff of steam when put back upright but that’s not a breaking factor for me. Overall, I am happy with this steam iron and give it 5 stars since it performs well and looks great!

Can be used horizontally
I first used this to get some wrinkles out of some curtains. I carefully read the instructions – but they aren’t really for this product since this one has been upgraded. The steamer can be held horizontally. It also said to hold the steam button down to steam – nope – the button is pressed once for light steam, twice for heavier steam, the third time gets heaviest steam and the fourth time turns the steam off. So, once I got it on 3 it seemed to do a pretty good job. But then it comes with an attachment that 1. doesn’t stay on and 2 covers a whole set of steam holes so I’m not sure the point of the attachment. But, for just steaming it works but not super fast so, nice to have on hand for things that need to be steamed.

This steamer works extremely well I used it on a silk scarf, shirt, dresses it works very good. It warms up fast and has a high quality feel in your hand. The water container also it doesn’t leak out. The steamer works as advertised getting wrinkles out of my clothes. I would recommend it!

Could Be Better
I ordered this steamer to remove wrinkle from garments we want to put on display in our shop. It does remove the wrinkles as you can see in the photos, but there are a couple of problems with this product. First, it takes a dozen or more passes just to remove the wrinkles from a sleeve. That is not an efficient use of time for us. If you are doing just 1 or 2 garments right before getting dressed, you probably won’t mind.The second problem is that it comes with this front attachment that is supposed to help remove wrinkles and keep the garment from getting steam right out of the machine. As soon as you touch the garment, this piece falls off quiet easily. The front piece I received didn’t look like the one in the pictures in this listing or in the included instructions.I probably won’t bother using this steamer again as it is just not a great fit for doing more than a few garments.
