Great Vacuum Cleaner
This vacuum cleaner works very well. It’s extremely strong in the suction. It moves around easily and the hose is long enough with all its wonderful attachments. My only complaint is that storage is kind of a pain. It takes up a lot of space and when you don’t have a lot of space it’s a little hard to find a good spot for it that’s not in the way. I wish it had a hook on the inside belly so you could hang it on the wall. Other than that it’s a great vacuum

Very Powerful Suction !!!
The suction is great! Also, it’s lightweight. Simple and easy to use. Although a Miele is luxury, the suction in this little vacuum is every bit as good and at an affordable price !

Loud but powerful, not made in China like Eureka! (Made in Mexico, better)
Powerful enough for pulling cat litter out of grooved hardwood floors, hurray! Lightweight enough to carry around, swap heads easily from hardwood to smaller car-type-attachment for thicker spills, a great little vacuum.I had bought the similar Eureka and it broke in no time, what junk that was, and I had believed in Eureka for so so long! No longer, so I went searching for something made NOT in China. I found this, and decided to gamble on it, for my hardwood floors with dogs and cats and stairs and ranch life messes.It works perfectly for all of this. Around my litter-box “furniture”the litter spills out and into the hardwood. This sucks it all right up, though I usually change to the smaller “concentrated power” head for that (like for car floorboards). I can carry it easily, it is light weight. It does seem to be all plastic, that is both disappointing and a benefit to making it light weight. I will be surprised though if it lasts 5 years, if it does I will update!I am very happy with this machine, it does the job, fast to change bags.If anyone can recommend a made in USA or Europe vacuum like this one, please write a headline in all caps telling us!

Great vacuum for bare floors
This corded vacuum works great on our hardwood floors and a few area rugs. It is light weight, has good suction, and is able to easily go under furniture. The attachments work well for dusting or long reaches. The cord is long so the vacuum goes easily from room to room with no plug-in change. I can’t believe the low price for this small but mighty vacuum. The one drawback is the cord is not retractable, but winds on the bottom of the vac which is inconvenient. So I bundle it and use a strong twisty tie to keep it together, and the cord lies next to the vac in the closet. That works fine considering all the other pluses of this vacuum. It is a great replacement for our old cannister Electrolux and works about as well!

Amazing vacuum
I own a cleaning company and this vacuum has been a welcome addition to our equipment. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The cord is a decent length which cuts down time lost from changing outlets in each room. I love the suction adjustment on the handle. When moving from hardwood to tile you can adjust the suction without having to bend over or turn it off (again, it cuts down time). It seems a little clunky and looks cheap at first but once you start using it you realize it has amazing function and looks don’t matter. The bags last a surprisingly long time before needing to be changed. It also doesn’t hold onto that musty/dirty/pet smell that most other vacuums seem to spew out every time you use them. My only con is that it’s not great on carpet. As in, we bring a separate stick vacuum to use on any carpets or rugs. I also don’t like the floor attachment in general. I bought a separate universal hard floor brush attachment and it is much better (another pro is that you can buy universal attachments that fit the diameter of the wand. It doesn’t have any fancy snaps that make it only compatible with the attachments from the manufacturer). Even with the one con I still give it 5 stars.

Sucks!!!!
Chose this over the Eureka based on color and feedback that Eureka was made in China and Sanitaire was made in Mexico with possibly a more robust motor. Box arrived says “made in Mexico”. Super light, easy to carry and maneuver. Long hose could be a bit more flexible. Love that it’s a bagged vacuum. I bought this mostly for above the floor cleaning and as a car vacuum, although the floor attachment works amazingly well on hard floors. Very good suction for such a small vacuum. A bit like my old Electrolux full size but without the bulk. I wish there was an air or electric powered brush roll option, this would likely become my main vacuum if there was! Durability remains to be seen over time. Completely satisfied so far.

A Vacuum Cleaner That Sucks, But Not In A Good Way
Unless I received a dud, I really do not understand all the rave reviews and videos for this unit. I have greater suction power sucking on a soda straw!Yes, the suction control slide is closed, and no, there are no hose obstructions. The only thing actually in the hose is a little bit of dust the suction wasn’t suficient enough to move back into the bag.One video I watched had the user place his hand over the suction port, without the hose, and he was able to lift the unit stuck to the palm of his hand. I tried that and felt no suction at all from the open port.The tools provided are OK, but their attachment to the unit leaves a lot to be desired. The Eureka version of this unit, virtually identical, comes with a 1-pc combo brush/fabric tool that attaches to the rear of the unit.This unit has that same attachment port, but there are separate brush and fabric tools, that do NOT attach to this port. Instead, there is a separate tool caddy that snaps on to the wand at the hose end. So long as you use the vacuum with the two extension wands, this tool caddy is not a major issue. However, if you just want to use the short wand itself, you pretty much need to remove the tool caddy, as it gets in the way.I had real high hopes for this unit. Perhaps I just received a dud. Unfortunately I no longer have the packing materials to return it.

Been using for 4 weeks now and had to change the bag once so far. Great suction! Use it everyday 1-2 times a day for whole main floor. Not a vacuum for carpets but we do have inside/outside carpet and it does a decent job on it.

I missed to have the possibility to control the suction, there is only one option. Also, this plus the lack of a small opening difficult the process to vacuum small carpets. It is also very noisy. It is certainly not the best vacuum I had, not the worst neither.
