Great mini pc for my HomeAssistant setup
Solid performer and simple to setup. Full disclosure, I did not use the Windows 11 image that came with this, I booted it up initially to verify the machine worked, then overwrote it with a HomeAssistant image.Solid little box, and everything works without issue. Definitely considering more of these to use for my kids’ computers.

Realtek NICs are a disappointment but otherwise great little mini PC for opnsense router
I purchased this for use as an opnsense router for use with my gigabit internet.CPU and RAM, it’s way overkill, and performance from these modern embedded CPUs is just insane for how little power they use.Unfortunately, it uses Realtek NICs instead of Intel NICs and so it can’t quite manage actual gigabit speeds, more like 700-800Mbps, instead of the 950Mbps or so I could get with my previous router. It doesn’t really matter, but it’s just something to be aware of.Construction feels cheap but good enough, and it’s a good value. Hopefully it holds up. But I would have liked to see the same model with Intel NICs and I would have been willing to pay an extra $20 for that feature.

Great Value
I purchased the AWOW AK10 to replace an earlier version, the AWOW AK41. This AK10 offers a better processor as well as more memory and has expandability with connections for an additional SATA drive and an SD card reader. I am using it with my Sony 4K television connected with the HDMI 2.0 port. This port is an upgrade- better than the HDMI ports on the previous model. I can stream 4K videos with no problems. The PC is also connected to my Roon server for music streaming and works great. This mini PC can handle any basic computing needs with no problems and could easily be a “daily driver”. Though I am not a gamer, the AK10 should easily handle light gaming but more intense 3D games would probably struggle. I am certain that if your main purpose was 3D gaming you would be looking for a more powerful PC! This comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and does not have a type C port but does offer a display port for multiple screens. As a media center, this computer fits all my needs! I am thinking of using the SATA drive for an Android operating system, which would open more applications. The support staff at AWOW are fantastic, and there to answer any questions or concerns you may encounter. Overall I find the AWOW AK10 to be a great little computer, solidly built with great specifications. It is a great value!

i was gonna use it for gaming when i realized it wouldn’t turn on after a while i got it to turn on and it barely worked. I would love to say you pay for what you get but i feel like you could buy something cheaper and get something better, please dont waste your time or money getting this cause even if you send it back it takes 30 days to get your money and they might charge a fee.

The Awow Mini-PC is a great desktop replacement computer
Right out of the box the setup for the Awow Mini-PC was fast, easy and simple. It should be easy even for beginners. It’s comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, which I greatly appreciate (no downloading or complicated install). It has 512gb of storage and it’s expandability. Check out the specs for more information about the device.In my opinion it’s a great computer for your normal daily tasks such as running office applications and others, browsing the web, and etc. A great desktop replacement.I prefer a large screen so I have mine connected to my 32inch flat screen television. I use a wireless all in one usb connected mouse and regular size keyboard which I already had. This PC doesn’t take up a lot of space, it’s very quiet, and fast. Works wonderfully I have no complaints.

Incredible value for the money, you can’t build and add windows 11 with office for under $300.00The unit is top notch for performance, this is the second one I’ve bought. One was for work to do PowerPoint slide shows on 2 monitors. Second one was for my home office to do payroll. Not much difference between Wi-Fi and LAN Connection speed.

Possible video interuption
It is fast but I thought it came with a usb-c port. The only problem I seem to be having is that when I’m on Facebook watching short videos the screen will go blank for a second and then come back on. I don’t know if it is a problem with the unit or the browser.

Artikel:Ich habe mir mit diesem Mini PC einen kleinen Server aufgebaut. Das Produkt ist wirklich sehr leicht und kompakt. Es wiegt ca. 900 Gramm und der PC lässt sich an der Wand befestigen. Im Lieferumfang befindet sich dafür eine Halterung. Außerdem liegt ein Netzteil dabei, ein HDMI Kabel und ein paar kleinere Schrauben. Das Gerät verfügt über einen Intel Celeron N3450 Prozessor, der nicht der Schnellste ist, aber für meine Zwecke durchaus ausreichend schnell. Es handelt sich um einen Quad Core Prozessor. Das Gerät hat 8 GB Ram eine 128 GB SSD integriert. Der Grafikchip ist ausreichend, für einfache Anwendungen. Spielen ist damit jedoch nicht möglich. Videos laufen in Full HD flüssig. Bei 4k Videos hängt es von der Bitrate ab, ob diese flüssig laufen. Untouched 4k Videos, laufen nicht flüssig. Das Gerät verfügt über 2 HDMI Ports und somit kann man zwei Monitore anschließen. Außerdem hat es zwei USB 3.0 Ports, ein Aux Anschluss und einen RJ45 Netzwerkanschluss. Als Betriebssystem ist Windows 10 Home installiert, welches ich sofort ersetzt habe gegen Linux. Aber der PC startet am Anfang unter Windows recht träge und die Installation und Updates dauern. Ist Windows vollständig eingerichtet, läuft der PC echt gut und stabil. Office Anwendungen, Internet und Videos laufen stabil. Der Speicher ist mittels SSD erweiterbar. Das Gerät ist im Betrieb relativ leise. Der integrierte Lüfter hält die Temperatur im grünen Bereich. Als Mini Server, insbesondere mit Linux, ist dieser mini PC echt gut geeignet.Fazit:Der Preis ist nicht der Günstigste, aber man bekommt hier echt was geboten. Auch wenn die CPU nicht die Schnellste ist, reicht die Hardware für einfache Anwendungen gut aus. Der Start dauert ca. 50 Sekunden und somit merkt man schon die einfache Hardware. Für meine Zwecke ist das Gerät, insbesondere durch das gute Design und Verarbeitung, aber perfekt geeignet. Deshalb gibt es auch fünf Sterne.

Ja, ich habe im Keller einen kleinen Serverraum. Mit USV und 2HE Servern im Schränkchen.Ja, ich bin ein Nerd, aber ich habe Spaß dran und ich wollte den Lärm & co nicht in der Bude haben. Außerdem, die Kinder und so.Aber Kabel legen nervt, und jedes Mal in den Keller (bei uns wird gerade das Stromnetz von der Stadt erneuert)…Also mal so einen kleinen ausprobiert, ich brauche mehr power als ein Raspberry, aber keinen i5 oder so.Der kleine steht jetzt mit Rocky Linux im Flur im Schrank. Abwärme passt (bei mir) um ihn in einer geschlossenen Schublade zu betreiben. Treiber haben geklappt, nur W-LAN lief unter Rocky nicht mit der Minimal-Version (vom Boot USB Stick aber schon, geht also, ich hab nur was vergessen, hängt eh am Kabel, also was soll’s).Die Performance als kleiner Linux Server mit LAMP und so ist super, ich kann bei einzelnen Requests nicht unterscheiden, ob’s ein dicker Server oder die kleine Kiste ist. Einen 3GB in MySQL dump einspielen war aber merklich langsamer, der CPU hat limitiert. Ist für mich aber voll im Rahmen – nicht langsam, nur langsamer.Er verbraucht ca. 15W beim booten, wenn er da ist und alle Dienste laufen, ca. 7-9W (ohne TLS und Festplattenverschlüsslubg 5-9W).Freue mich und bin glücklich. Nichts negatives aufgefallen bisher.

Lieferung wie immer gewohnt schnell. Gekauft wurde dieser kleine PC für die Programmierung und Steuerung einer CNC Fräse.Geliefert wird der PC in einer schicken Verpackung. Folgender Inhalt ist in der Box- AWOW Mini PC- Netzteil- HDMI Kabel- Halterung inklusive Schrauben- BedienungsanleitungDie mitgelieferte Halterung ermöglicht die Montage des PCs am VESA Mount hinter einem Monitor. Es ist alles für die Montage dabei. Es muss nichts extra gekauft werden.Nach dem Aufbau ging es ans einschalten und ja was soll man sagen. Durch den leistungsstarken Prozessor, die 8GB Arbeitsspeicher und der rasend schnellen SSD macht das Arbeiten super viel Spaß. Alles geht flott von der Hand.Für den Preis erhält man ein super komplett Paket. Auspacken anschließen, Spaß haben. Alles Dabei! Wie oben beschrieben ist sogar das HDMI Kabel dabei.Durch WLAN 2,4 und 5 GHz und Ethernet hat man frei Wahl bei der Konnektivität. Es sind auch ausreiche USB Steckplätze vorhanden.Von meiner Seite ein unschlagbar günstiges und sehr gutes Komplettset.Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Der Mini macht einen guten Eindruck.BT funktioniert. Alle Anschlüsse machen ihren Job.Manchmal harkt es aber. Als wenn der Mini nachdenkt. Dann drohe ich mit Strg-Alt-Ent, aber dann läuft er weiter.Win 10 ist okay. Office 2019 wurde installiert, läuft.Mal schauen, wie er sich mit einem weiteren HDMI Monitor macht und ob das Zoom Meeting reibungslos läuft. Win 10 ist beim Starten auf englisch. Macht aber nichts.edit 06.05.2022: 2. TV-Monitor angeschlossen. Funktioniert auch.Manchmal bleibt allesdings der Mini im “Schlaf-“Modus hängen.Stg+Alt+Entf drücken, kurz warten, auf abbrechen gehen: er ist wieder wach und bedienbar.

Zwar macht er seit 2 Jahren was er soll, ist aber jetzt nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Windows 10 hört ende 2025 auf und Win 11 funktioniert auf diesem Mini-PC nicht. Der Arbeitsspeicher von 8 GB läßt sich nicht aufrüsten und mit der 128 GB Speicherkarte kam ich auch nicht weit. Mein Tip, legt die 99,99 € besser als Anzahlung für ein aktuell aufgerüstetes Gerät an !
