Try it indoors first
This is a really fun toy drone. I’ve played around with a few toy drones and and some professional drones. This one compares favorably to the toy drones. No, you don’t get the professional features like cameras and sensors, but it does a pretty good job at teaching you how to use the controls. The controls are similar to professional drones with the left up/down stick and the right directional stick, so if you are wanting to get an inexpensive drone to practice on before upgrading to a professional model, this one works pretty well for that.It’s good for flying indoors. It has crash protectors around the propellers so it isn’t bothered when you hit something. The controls are straight forward and they even give you a handy guide that fits over the controller to help you learn to use the different features. The instruction manual had the typical bad grammar and spelling I’ve come to expect with this imported products and it was at times difficult to understand. We did struggle to get it to do barrel rolls and had to calibrate the drone immediately when taking it out for the first time or it would drift. But, the calibration was a simple press of the button so it was very easy to fix. It is loud! If you use it inside, don’t plan on taking naps while your kids are playing with it! The lights are entertaining and brought the neighborhood kids running to come see it when we brought it outside to play. I would recommend starting to learn it indoors before you venture outside. It is a light drone, so it can carried off by the wind easily.The batteries are easy to change, which is a nice feature for this particular drone. Other toy drones I’ve used made me connect a JST cable so it takes more effort when changing batteries. This comes with 3 batteries too, so plenty of time to play. Each battery got about 10 minutes of play time right out of the box, not bad really with all the lights and maneuvering we were doing. Overall, this little toy drone is a good value and handles pretty well.

Nice toy for our kids!
This drone is exciting for little ones! Our almost 6 year old loves it. He figured out how to fly it pretty easily and loves the lights. I will say it is a bit smaller than I expected, which isn’t horrible, but something to note. Our son doesn’t care about the size and it takes up less space in our house, but I would expect a drone of this price to be a little larger. So far, it does seem pretty durable. We have all crashed it a couple of times and nothing has broken and it still flies as it should. Overall very pleased with this and would recommend!

Big and colorful
It’s large for a toy drone. You can fly it indoors and outdoors. There’s no optical positioning, so it has a tendency to drift in different directions when you let go of the controller.The controller comes with card that indicates all of the functions. You can change the max speed, do flips and rolls, spin in circles, and orbit with a push of a button.This drone has a lot of RGB LED lights that illuminate the propellers and the propeller guards. Unfortunately, you can’t change any of the RGB lighting effects on this drone. Also, it only came with one micro USB charging cable; you will need a couple more Micro USB cables if you want to charge all of the batteries at once.The battery life is good, but will vary depending on how you fly the drone. I timed it at around five minutes of flight time.
