Quick and easy. Models with this type of heating coil tend to burn out quickly but $30 will get your dryer running like new. Do not open the back. Unplug unit. Theres only 14 screws to remove: 2 top cover, 2 control panel, 2 support bracket, Remove control panel connectors, 6 front: 2 top, 2 bottom, 2 connecting to lint trap. Inner plate is held in with 2 screws and 4 alignment clips. Remove the belt by pull open belt tensioner. Lift out the drum by the belt. Takes 12 minutes. 20 if you have a helper

I installed this element, and exactly one week after return period ended the internal coils overheated, warping the thin sheet retainer and causing them to weld themselves until shorting out further and getting an error code.Don’t waste your money. The gamble isnt worth it

We have used this dryer replacement twice now in two years. It’s hard to say if it’s our dryer or the elemate we keep buying to replace it with. But it does the job for a good year before going out again.

It’s what I needed
I have been making repairs around my house. I asked for help and no one was willing so I did my research and found what I needed. I couldn’t find a video and there were no instructions but the parts they give are so self explanatory that I was able to change them and get it all put back together. I am done asking for help and am just going to start “doing”. If you need a heating element and this is the one needed for your brand I would recommend.

Quick fix – Lasted 14 Months
Price was right and easy install. Ran for 14 months and now I’m replacing again. Not worth the savings. CHEAP.

Warranty is a joke!
Had the element installed for less than a month and then just went out. When uninstalling it, found that the coils had expended and are now touching the cylinder which caused the unit to burn itself out. When I tried to use the 365 days warranty that is listed in the description, I was sent in circles. Amazon stating I had to contact the seller, but every link to the seller was redirecting everything back to Amazon (no fault to Amazon). Finally gave up and just bought a replacement from a different seller.
