Easy to install
They are very simple to install. Just slide the casters to the distance that you need and tighten the screw. As we didn’t have a jack we had to lean the washer to one side then tipped it to the other side to install. The hardest part was pulling the machine away from the wall to install. Now both the washer and dryer slide smoothly forward and back. I no longer have to jiggle from side to side to move it. Seems sturdy. It is holding the weight with no problem. Locks work just fine. Only thing is I am short and could barely reach the bottom of the washer before and now I can’t reach at all. Will have to use a stool to reach the bottom or a grabber tool, which is fine. I rather be able to move the washer. I can always have someone else pull the clothes out. Should have done this sooner.

Works great in my stacked washer and dryer. Hard to tell when the brakes are on but other than that no issues.

Some moderate design flaws
I think it will work well enough in my situation so i am not going to return it but for awareness please read on..My biggest observation is that the two peices do not fit well together and the fasterner doesn’t hold well. Its as if an amateur metal worker made this their DYI project at home and took the measurements without really checking for fit.The finish and the materials seem ok.

BRILLIANT!!!
My husband said this was my best Amazon purchase EVER! It’s perfect. Our washer always needs the trap cleaned and its a PAIN accessing the trap via rear panel. I can’t pull out the washer by myself b/c it’s too heavy. BUT NOW??? Holy cow! We installed the skates in 5 minutes and simply rolled it out, cleaned the trap and pushed it back in place.What a lifesaver! We’re getting more skates for the dryer and refrigerator! stop

Limited usuability.
Not a fan, and would not recommend to anyone. Learn from my learning curve. Was really hopeful that these would facilitate moving large furniture, unfortunately, they do not work well on carpet (even thin carpet). The sliders you buy at Wal-mart far and away out-perform them. They also only will go in one direction (north/south)(unlike the sliders that you can move to the left or right as you manuever whatever you are trying to move. Thirdly, the fly wing screw that is to help you adjust the length of the bar is IMPOSSIBLE to tighten enough not to relax and allow the bar to slump. FYI, furniture on tile that needs moving will slide with enough force pushing it the destination you desire. Perhaps not a good idea for softer floors (e.g.: linoleum), but a throw rug turned upside down (rug side to floor) and slipped under one side of the furniture will give you tremendous purchase plus floor protection for any heavy furniture you want moved. For carpet, buy the sliders at Wal-mart. I wouldn’t spend any money on these.

Works well for double washer
Works fine for my front load washer with pedestal washer below (fairly heavy combo.) Easy enough to set the right length and tighten the wingnut – It may be fine as is, but I could probably get it tighter with a nut and a socket wrench, as it’s a little awkward to fit a pliers in the recessed bracket. Some people have said it’s difficult to maneuver because the wheels do not turn, but over tile it can be angled – it’s certainly much easier to position than with no rollers. I haven’t had any problem with the brake not working either. Let’s see after we run a spin cycle…

This item is great value and easy-to-use, I assembled them and placed them under washer on my own. Purchasing some more for other appliances. It makes life so much easier to pull the appliances out and clean behind.
