    great slim line
Great low-pro sub, have used it as the rear in two 5.2.4 setups: one under a couch and another under a bed. Perfect fit for both applications and pair well with front 8″ cube subs. YPAO has typically lowered the output by 2-3db compared to fronts so I suppose they could be “boomy” but also could be application specific – they were closer to the listening position/mic in both setups so take that for what you will…

    Love it
This subwoofer has done exactly what I need it to – give good sound while fitting in a small space.Pros:- I mounted mine on the wall with the included brackets. The drywall anchors it came with will hold it up, but I wanted some additional strength so I used toggle screws. The fit was awesome. It fits very tight against the wall. At first I didn’t think it would slide on the brackets, but it just barely did. Really impressive tolerance control (or I just got lucky)!- I’m not an audiophile, but the sound seems great to me.Cons:- I could have figured this out if I had thought of it, but the tight fit against the wall (or on the ground if you mount it that way) will require some 90 degree RCA adapters. You will smash your cables if you just use straight connections.- This is a nit, but the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. It is a fold out pamphlet. It is pretty straightforward to mount on the wall (I’m am pretty mechanically inclined though), which is good since the instructions give no detail on how to do it. There are some foam pieces it came with the instructions don’t mention. I think they go on the different brackets to keep rattles down, but no mention of them anywhere.Overall I love it. It fits great behind my TV out of sight and away from the kids (my 2 yr old constantly put stuff down the port of my old sub). I was very impressed with the fit onto my wall, which leads me to believe that it won’t rattle. I haven’t had a chance to crank it up too much, but the sound is good and clear.

Good Sub with lots of power for a slim 10”
Build quality and volume. I installed it outside and it has plenty of power. I have it a 50% volume and it is plenty

Bigger than expected but very flexible and plenty of volume
This came in a little bigger than I expected. However, it is completely unobtrusive setup by my nightstand, and would easily fit under the bed. It works just like the other Dayton active subs, meaning the crossover and gain controls provide all of the flexibility I could want, along with more than enough volume. Just another great product from Dayton. I’ll be adding one of these to our living room system.

Sounds Good – But Cosmetically Damaged out of the box. I really don’t know how your shipping department missed this damage. Poor quality control I guess. Paid for new…………. Partial REFUND please !!!!!!Update – Only offered $25 refund for damaged merchandise. Poor customer service here and quality control from Dayton Audio.

    Fits in the room.
I do not have the largest or best listening room. This unit fits under my entertainment console and on the same plain as my main (Polk ES60’s) front speakers. In the center approximately seven feet apart from the sub. The results are dramatic. And above my expectations. Highly recommend for a space saver sub.

Very good bass and outstanding value
This unit is a fantastic value for a subwoofer that will do everything most people will need. Some have criticized how low it will play. It may be that the specs are not as good as some others, but it is clean, solid, and powerful in a home theater setup in my 12×17 room. If you want crazy low bass you can get a huge sub with better performance but you will not do better than this with any 12-15″ cube-style sub, and a cube is much harder to hide. And the price is unbeatable. I love everything about it.

    Great tight space Sub Woofer.
First, this unit showed up with zero damage and was double boxed. Perfect condition unlike previous reviews.Second, the unit works well, has plenty of bass and thump, is easy to use and setup.Third, the unit without the included legs to stand it up for vertical mounting are 6 inches by 25 inches, not 9 inches by 27 inches as in the Amazon spec’s show.If you put the additional feet on for vertical mounting, yes, it gets larger. The included mounted feet for standing it on the floor horizontally give you the 6 inch by 25 inch size. The auto off feature works great. I tested it immediately due to previous negative posts. Mine shuts the amp off after approximately 2 minutes of loss of amp signal not 5 seconds like others posted. My guess is they changed the design. The unit comes on immediately once signal is sent by the stereo with no pop, snap or whatever.I have this in a motorhome and it makes zero noise with the engine or generator running, no buzzing or charger interference.I deducted one star because this unit does not fill the sound space as full as my Bose Sub woofer I was trying to squeeze into a space it would not fit. This unit fits, just not quite as full sounding. Otherwise, I am very happy.
