It Flys
I have flown the unit successfully. Being a kid at heart, I assembled it and hit the one button take off while sitting on the living room couch. It took off and I started trying to fly it, barely missed getting tangled up in our ceiling fan then on into the kitchen where I was able to land it without breaking anything.So, I think anyone who takes time to read the directions could easily fly it with complete control.It’s an outstanding drone for the price and it’s easy to fold up and take along on outdoor excursions.Comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for the drone. You need 3 AA batteries for the controller.

Just used indoors, pretty fun
So,I wasn’t expecting a whole lot considering the price of the drone was around $20 when I ordered it but I was pleasantly surprised.The drone does come with a battery. It charges by removing from the drone and plugging in the included micro usb cord into your own charger/usb port.The kit comes with various pamphlets / manuals and looks like two versions of the same quick instructions. It’s mostly in English with Chinese instructions on the reverse with the manual being in multiple languages.The device has a power on button and the remote needs three double a batteries (not included). Once both are turned on, they connect to each other immediately without needing to be paired.I did try the android app as well and it’s find for video/pictures. The actual video isn’t amazing but it’s OK. IT has a forward (tiltable) camera as well as a downward facing camera. The downward camera is not worth using. The main camera like I said is OK. Similar quality to most doorbell cameras that are 1080p.Flying was mostly straight forward with the controls. I tried it before reading instructions and figured out most of the movement. Special buttons like 360 flip I did check to verify in the manual.The good : flies pretty well and is intuitive foe the most part.The not so good : sometimes it decides to veer off. Mostly with the ground effect in play it will have issues close to the ground. It did try to attack me once at around head height but I was able to correct in time.It’s a small device, I’m Resistant to use it outside in the wind (windy the past week) as I think it could easily get lost. For the price, it’s a fun toy and if your expectations aren’t too high, it should be fun to play with.Also, it does come with a nice case and some spare blades.

This drone is working great for us so far. It has been a fantastic addition to our family outdoor activities. It is great for kids, beginners, and adults too, this drone offers super fun and easy operation, making it accessible for all of us. The quality and material are another great things about this drone, it is very impressive, reflecting its durable and well-constructed design. While the drone is easy to operate, it does require a bit of practice to master all its features. However, once you get the hang of it, flying becomes intuitive and enjoyable. We all can easily handle it without any issue. The long-lasting battery is a standout feature, providing ample flight time for extended play sessions without frequent recharges. The simple buttons and controls are user-friendly, ensuring that even beginners can navigate and control the drone with ease. Overall, we enjoyed this drone a lot, it’s durable, portable and great for all outdoor activities.

The HYTOBP Drone with Brushless Motor 1080P HD Camera is easy to navigate. Camera does operate off an app and it does require batteries.The images are good quality.This is a lightweight drone, which means you might not need to license it, but do check local authorities with regards to were you can fly it. Some parks are off limits regardless of size of drones.It does have a return to it when the battery becomes low which is great. The battery doesn’t last too long, just to be aware.All in all, great beginner drone.

If you are looking for a small drone for kid or for a beginner to learn, this drone is good for that purpose. It is a good entry-level option for those new to flying drones. Its most notable feature is the use of AA batteries, which makes it incredibly convenient as you can easily replace the batteries without waiting for a recharge. This drone is designed with ease of use in mind, offering straightforward controls that make it accessible for both kids and adults. Its lightweight build and durable construction ensure it can withstand minor crashes, a common occurrence for novice pilots.The drone’s stability in flight is commendable, allowing beginners to get the hang of flying without constant adjustments. Features like altitude hold and one-button takeoff and landing add to its user-friendly appeal. However, the trade-off for using AA batteries is a shorter flight time, typically around 7-10 minutes, but the ease of swapping batteries partially mitigates this limitation.Of course this drone does not break any bank, but still providing a good enough 1080P videos for our memories. It is fun to play with even not capturing anything, my kids enjoy flying it as a flying toy since it looks cool. If you are thinking about getting the first drone whatsoever for your kid, get this one, you won’t regret.
