Works Amazing

It doesn’t work!
I purchased this fountain in January for an event in May. I chose this one because it was advertised as heavy duty, good motor etc. When I opened it in May, it was much smaller than I had anticipated so I very quickly ordered another one to support my event. The day before the event, I cleaned them and on the day of, I microwaved the chocolate so it was liquid. Turned on the machines to let them warm up, added the chocolate and awaited the rush of chocolate. Guess what; neither one of them worked! One worked a little bit for a short time then quit. The other didn’t work at all and was shaking all over the place. Needless to say, the entire event was ruined. Hundreds of people were dissapointed, tons of strawberries and marshmallows wasted! Hundreds of dollars lost! I did the paperwork to return the second one, but when I went to return the first one, my return window closed in February! But I didn’t even open the fountain until May! Ask me if I’m unhappy!!!

Horrible!
As a caterer I purchased the commercial model for both quality and presentation, however, it took forever to get hot, and then when the cheese finally started flowing the machine shuts itself off, so it doesn’t overheat, leaving the cheese cold and clumpy during cocktail hour. What an embarrassment for me and my staff. In my opinion, it should stay flowing for at least an hour before shutting off. When it worked it was beautiful but then became a disappointment. Would not recommend.

Hard to clean
Chocolate fountain is overpriced and difficult to clean. I discovered that the rotor actually pauses periodically for what I assume is a cool-down. Very inconvenient.

If I could give it zero stars I would.
I purchased this for an event and when it was set up it didn’t work. It got hot but the motor for the pump never came on. Changed the fuse as thats a common problem apparently and still nothing.
