Comfy handles, strong necks, sturdy tools
As I said in the headline, this set has everything I look for in kitchen utensils. The handles are VERY comfy in my hand. They are also silicone, so they are soft and flexible, and when you’re stirring a dish for a long time, trust me, that is a very nice thing. The metal neck means that you have control, they don’t bend, then suddenly snap and fling sauce all over your kitchen like cheap plastic. Also a plus in my book – and don’t ask how I know that happens… And, like I said, even though they’re silicone, they are not flimsy silicone. The spatulas are great, flipping eggs, sausage, or burgers with ease. The spoons stir or lift or serve quite well. They also clean quite easy – a nice feature. I just use a blue sponge, the one that has the scratchy pad on one side, regular sponge on the other, and a little soap, and they wipe clean. The only caution – if you have an existing holder of old utensils – the handles are a little bigger around than other kinds. So they are a tighter fit… But, like I said, it makes a much nicer feel in the hand. Worth the money.

Favorite Utensils
This is my third try at buying cooking utensils. First….Check description carefully if you want dishwasher safe utensils. (bought on Amazon). Second purchase was made cheaply (bought at a store). These I love and are sturdy, nice looking, and okay in the dishwasher.

Comfortable to hold, and not made of toxic black plastic (google toxic black plastic spatulas)! I chose this set for the variety of pieces (a pasta scoop was a must, according to my 9-yr-old) and the reasonable price. The weight of the pieces is a little bit heavier than I am used to but not uncomfortable. I wish a skinnier turner and tongs were included, but I think I will use all the included pieces.

Like pretty much everyone else, I recently jumped on the “ditch your black plastic utensils” bandwagon. I’m so glad I did, even if it turns out that the black plastic wasn’t actually killing us after all. These are so much nicer than the random collection of mismatched pieces they replaced. Very happy with my purchase.
