Great value, simple to use
Sometimes the older style is better. This electric skillet heats quickly, cooks evenly and is great for eggs, sandwiches and so much more, thanks to the high sides and lid. At this price, I can replace when the finish is worn and not look back. I actually looked into purchasing a vintage electric skillet with a stainless or aluminum finish, but this is SO affordable, I just couldn’t justify going any other way, and I’m glad I did.

perfect size for two people skillet
This is the perfect size for my hubby and me. I had replaced my old one with another skillet and it was huge. This one allows me to cook enough food for a small family instead of a huge family. I wish it had the vent the old prestos had in the lid that is the only downside as steam comes around the edges. The surface is easy to clean as well. I’m very happy with it. Large enough for 5 brats, 4 burger patties and enough casserole for two plus some left overs so just perfect.

I used this electric skillet today for the first time. It worked just fine no complaints there. We cooked some chili in it. When it came to clean up, I have to say a different story. The coated skillet cleaned up fine the lid is a different story. The lid is not metal but some kind of plastic. It became splashed with tomatoe sauce. This stain will not come off; I tried a couple of cleaning agents nothing harsh. Nothing worked didn’t even attempt to remove the stain. Why market something that can’t handle what it’s marketed for. I am very disappointed with this issue of the product.

Fits my needs
I don’t like to heat my house up cooking when it’s hot out. I have a few appliances in my mudroom that I use to cook for those occasions when it’s hot or when I’m cooking fish.I actually have 3 electric skillets, this is my medium skillet. It’s very easy to clean and makes it easy to cook at the right temperature. I love it for grilled cheese, burgers, fish, and omelettes and stuff.

This is a great little skillet. My apt. has a tiny kitchen area so I needed some way to cook food as I have no stove and I didn’t want an appliance that cooked enough for a whole family so when I saw this, I decided it may fit the bill. It’s the perfect size, big enough to cook for 3 or 4 when needed, doesn’t take up a lot of space and I really like the plastic lid because the slow cooker I bought has a glass lid that’s really heavy and steams up so you can’t see inside anyway so this is great. The height of the lid makes it possible to cook a small roast or chicken and it’s also great for soups, hard boiling eggs, making stew and frying chicken which is the main reason I bought it for and the sides of the pan are high enough that it is easy to fry chicken, or make bacon and eggs, or even flip pancakes! The cooking surface seems to heat up evenly so the entire pan cooks the food quite nicely. It’s got a non-stick coating that I really like because it makes clean up a breeze and once unplugged and the heating element is removed, this pan can be washed without worrying. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and if I ever need to replace it, the cost is reasonable enough to just order a new one. This pan is perfect for people with small cooking areas and it cooks like a dream so would make a perfect gift.

The electric skillet arrived within the delivery estimate. All pros, no cons. It came in handy while our kitchen was being remodeled. We mainly used the 250-300 degree temp range on the dial. The price was reasonable when we purchased it, and it helped us to save money on dinners during the remodeling. We also purchased the Elite Gourmet Countertop Electric Hot Burner, Temperature Controls, Power Indicator Lights, Easy to Clean, Single, White. Together, they were perfect for accommodating dinnertime needs.There is some assembling required prior to use. The lid is plastic. I did not cook with the plastic lid on, I only used the lid to keep the remaining food warm while we ate dinner. This skillet will come in handy when needing one more heating element, and during travel.Note: When cleaning, make sure to only clean the inside portion of the skillet, follow the product instructions and do not submerge in water. Also, use soft cooking utensils to avoid scratching the nonstick cooking surface. To prevent damage when not in use, I store the skillet in the original box, after removing the handles.

Funciona perfecto, infinidad de platillos puedo preparar en un sólo sartén, tamaño excelente para diario: desde Lasagna hasta rabo de mestiza y además la tapa así de alta en temperatura baja lo hace un horno eficaz, aunque la orilla se ha pintado un poco por el puré de “tomate” pero de todos modos es de 10 !!!

I have no stove in my bachelor apartment so I decided to get this bad boy!!!The reviews are right, it’s a complete even cook, it’s easy to clean, it heats up super fast. 10/10 would recommend!!!! I love it. I’m excited to cook again.

We bought this electric frying pan because our induction burner did not have consistent heat. I’ve used this skillet in the US and it’s great. The problem is with the included transformer. The skillet is made for 110V and pulls 1000W – here in India, the electricity is 220V – so you need a step down converter. The seller included one and insisted it be used – however – it was for 100W and burned up after a couple of uses. We ended up buying a 1500W transformer that is bigger than the skillet. I would not have purchased if I had known. If you’re in a country that has 220V and you don’t already have a step down converter in your kitchen – look elsewhere.
