Ok so I ordered mine with my Amazon Christmas gift cards, along with a couple other things. I ordered it Christmas Day and got it when specified, when setting it up I had some trouble with the base but once everything lined up it all came together perfectly. It was easy set up I have it plugged into an older HP laptop, which has all the current windows 10 updates. The picture quality is amazing, and I’m still baffled how big the screen is for the price, it’s like the size of the small television my parents have in their room. I’m streaming Futurama on it through my provider on it as I’m writing this and even my dad dad walked by and even being as nit picky as he is he was impressed. I got it mainly for when school starts up again, and it added more space to my desk and something bigger where I’m not hunched over a laptop staring at a screen and sitting so close as I type (I got a wireless keyboard to go with it) it moves up and down very easily without worry.I gave it four stars for gaming because while I intend to use it for school I do have every intention of playing my PS4 on it, and watching a gamer video on it the quality seems very good. THIS HAS SPEAKERS!!!!!!!! Don’t let other reviews say it doesn’t, it has speakers. I didn’t even have to adjust them when I set it up they just worked immediately. All in all great product that does have speakers, I know some people are SO picky (it’s understandable) but at $109 for this amount of quality I am definitely happy and won’t pick apart it’s flaws, which I have found none so far!!!

I bought this monitor for my laptop in December 2020 for $109.99 when it first came out. I read the specs on it and new it was a good all-around monitor. Picture & Screen quality 5 Stars, as for gaming I can not say. Now in July 2023 it is on sale for $122.61 so I just ordered another one for my wife’s laptop. OH and it has speakers on the back of it that are as good as laptop speakers. HP is a great name that makes great stuff for a reasonable price. My personal opinion is that this monitor is better than the one that is about to replace it by far and @ 1/2 the cost. Sorry HP. This is the newer model I speak of – “HP 24″ M24f Monitor with 3-Sided Micro-Edge Bezel, Silver and Black – 23.8″ FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS Diagonal Display, AMD FreeSync 99% sRGB Color Gamut, VGA and 1 HDMI Ports, BROAG USB Extension Cable” NO speakers & why does it need a BROAG USB Extension Cable? As far I have read in the specs there is no USB hub/port on this new monitor. That is just my opinion – if you are looking for a great dependable monitor with a great picture and speakers @ a GREAT price. Buy this monitor. Sorry again HP but I just could not believe it when I seen it on sale for this low price. I think they are going to retire this model because it is TO GOOD – Just my personal opinion again.

Crisp, clear picture quality for the price
The screen quality is great for what this monitor costs. I use it as a secondary monitor so it’s more than sufficient for me. The images are bright, clear and crisp—everything you need to work. The monitor was easy to set up. The height adjustment let me put it at a height that’s good for me so I’m not stuck looking too low or too high; the tilting feature is also great for when the sun’s shining and I need to make a slight adjustment. It was also simple to connect this to my main monitor. I really like that it has minimal edges, making more of the screen usable. I can’t rate the sound quality as I don’t use that feature. I can’t rate the refresh rates, etc. as I’m not a techie and don’t know what most of that means. I got this to replace a similar model that the movers broke (that model is no longer available) and I think this is a superior product.

Macbook users – you have nothing to worry about!
Bought this to use as a monitor for my 2017 MacBook Air as the 13″ screen was starting to strain my eyes. For some context, I’m a student and my primary use for the screen is to read read read and take lots of notes. I’ve read a few reviews about issues with the resolution from a mac to this screen, and the surefire way to make sure none of those issues happen is to buy a thunderbolt to hdmi cable – I bought one from amazon basics a couple years ago and it works seamlessly – edge to edge display and full resolution. It’s not a 4k monitor or anything but with how big it is and how far back you sit, it’s all the same in terms of crisp, clear picture. I don’t use my computer for gaming really so I cannot comment on the graphics/resolution for that purpose – but for your basic office or school work – it’s perfect.Not sure what a solution would be for newer mac models that have only the usb-c output. Also, this was bought in Feb 2021 and it seems like the latest model comes with built in speakers, has a tilt feature, and vertical sliding to adjust the height. For this price, I think the value is unbeatable. The only downside is that there seems to be no external volume control, but I have my bluetooth headphones in most of the time anyway so it doesn’t matter. It also comes with an aux cord to connect to external speakers, and a regular hdmi cable.If you’re hesitating on this product, there’s a reason it’s the #1 seller on computer monitors on amazon!

Not very sharp, but otherwise a pretty good monitor
Pros:For the price it’s not bad. It’s easy to set up, the settings are easy to navigate, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space.While the picture quality leaves something to be desired (more on that below), the actual screen is nice. The matte surface does s good job of minimizing glare and fingerprints.Cons:I do wish it had more range in terms of height adjustment.The biggest offender is that I’m not convinced it’s actually 1080p. I have a 1080p gaming monitor, and text on that one is plenty sharp and defined. Text on this monitor is grainy, and it can be hard to make out small details (which is important in my work as an editor).

This monitor has very good build quality, you can move it and position it anyway you like. It’s really flexible!!The picture quality is very sharp and in my opinion it’s excellent for the price , the different viewing options that HP includes are good and I always use the low blue light mode when it’s dark in my room.Even doe it’s not advertised :THIS MONITOR HAS A 75HZ REFRESH RATE (you can enable it on your graphics card options)To wrap it all up I was looking for a monitor for online school, programming and casual web browsing / watching netflix, and I’m super satisified with the product.

Great monitor, great picture. Very lightweight and fully adjustable height and viewing angle. This was purchased for a new computer that replaced another HP monitor that was purchased along with an HP pc that is still working as a second desktop…hope to get the same years of service from this one.
