In love with these!
I have gone through numerous earbuds over the years. Inevitably, they all lose sound out of one or the other. That could be because in getting tangled around me, I may pull the wiring from one bud loose eventually. Serious problem for me, as I am always listening to an audiobook. I’ve been wanting to get wireless, but I have always been afraid that they would fall out of my ears. I already have enough trouble with the earbud causing pain after a short period of time. I have small ear, canals, and the earbud, even with the smallest attachment, can be problematic.Because I usually only have listened with one in, because I like to be aware of what’s going on around me, I had looked into the open air version. Almost all of them seem to hook over the outer ear, in a way that would completely interfere with my glasses.I didn’t know what to expect from these. They look very strange, but I thought I’d give them a try. I am so very glad I did! They hook onto the ear very lightly but securely. I know they’re there, but they’re not heavy, and they don’t bother me . There’s nothing to go into the ear canal, so that is no longer a problem, no more pain. With the open ear, I can have both in, and still be able to hear what’s going on around me, which is a huge plus for me. The volume has been excellent. The only time that’s been a problem is when I’m on a very loud bus, with too much motor noise around me. That’s happened once out of all the times I’ve worn them. The battery life seems excellent. Once they’re in the case, they no longer connect to the phone, so they are no longer connected to the Bluetooth for the playback. I need to make sure that I turn off play, before I take them out and pop them on, if I don’t wanna miss a word, lol. They do automatically connect as soon as they come out of the case. Once they’re in the case, they are also charging. You do need to be aware of the case having enough charge on it, and recharging that, because it can’t charge the earbuds if it’s not charged , lol. The controls seem fairly easy, but I have issues with dexterity and sensation in my fingers, so I still have to poke around to find the on-off, but that’s my own problem and I’m sure I’ll learn it eventually. The only possible problem with these, if you are so, inclined, would be using them for phone calls. It’s been spotty, some people don’t complain, or simply say that it sounds like I’m in a tunnel. Others have said they can’t understand anything. That may be because they are the open air conduction rather than the bone conducting. I was not comfortable with the ones that do the bone conduction for the sound, and I don’t make enough phone calls that I need these for, overall. I’ve had some long conversations with people who have not had any trouble dealing with any “distortion“ in how well, my voice transmits.Extremely happy with this purchase!

An Overall Great Open Ear Style for Under $30 ( . . .But Has Room for Improvement)
The Likes1. Utility. Functions very well as an open-ear style earbud.2. Outstanding Battery Life. Thanks to the charging case.3. Extremely comfortable. Thanks to the rubber “clip”The Dislikes1. Not secure. For example, when I do moderate workouts, (like running on a treadmill) they can fall out.2. Uneven sound. Since the trajectory of the sound shooting into your ear varies.3. Despite claiming “elastic tension without deformation”, it does. My right one is about 1mm in differencethe gap between the battery area and speaker. This is a BIG deal because I’m afraid it will eventually be unusable.Improvement recommendationsPlease improve the “clip” by allowing the ability to adjust the amount of force that it pinches your ear. I have 2 reasons why this is important1. Utility. It makes the earbuds as comfortable as the user wants it, for the appropriate task. (Like Working at a desk vs Working out)2. Sound. The sound is WAY better and LOUDER when the speaker is closer to the ear (Duh.) So if I am riding a bike, maybe I sacrifice sound quality for surroundings awareness or vice-versa when I’m in class. Thanks!

Great For A Low Cost Headphone
I got these a couple of months ago as an alternative to my bone conduction headphones that go behind the ear. I wear glasses, and I’ve started having issues with ear pain behind my ears. After using them for a while, I’ve pretty much replaced my expensive bone conduction headphones with these.Pros:-They are super comfortable. The way these clip onto the side of my ears, they don’t interfere with my glasses at all. They also rest right outside the ear, rather than going into the ear canal.-I haven’t had any issues with them staying in place (once I got the hang of clipping them on and positioning them.)-The battery life has been fantastic.-I use them primarily for audiobooks, and the audio quality is just fine for that. The quality for music is also decent. Let’s face it, if you’re looking for high quality sound for your music, you’re looking at the wrong type of headphone. But for everyday sound, these work great.-They turn on and off and disconnect and connect automatically when you place them or remove them from the case. That’s generally really convenient.Cons:-Because they rest outside the ear, if there is a lot of outside noise, it can be hard to hear unless you turn the volume way up. But that’s to be expected with this type of headphone/earbud.-The controls are a pain to use. Sometimes they’re super sensitive to touch, and sometimes they hardly respond.-It’s hard to change the volume or skip ahead or behind due to the touch sensitivity. Plus trying to remember which side increases/decreases the volume and how many times to tap is too much for my brain sometimes.-You can turn them both off with the controls on one bud, but they need to be turned on separately. That’s a minor complaint, since I rarely need to turn them off/on without putting them in the case.Overall, the pros outweigh the cons for me. I definitely recommend these, especially if you’re a glasses wearer and don’t need noise cancellation.
